In previous years we have sent out an overview of PDUs for attended PMI Netherlands Chapter events. This process has changed.

Please follow the steps below to view your attended events for 2018.

1. Login to the PMI Chapter website as a member
2. Click on 'My Registrations' in the top navigation menu
3. To view attended events from June 2018 going forward, you will see a list on this page. (NOTE: This page is updated with your attended events as they occur so you will no longer need to wait until year-end to view your summary)
4. To view attended events prior to June 2018, select the following blue button 'My Event Registrations before 2018-05-27'
5. Follow the steps 'here' for instructions on how to register PDUs for attended events at the CCRS website.

When the EU’s GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is introduced this year, the bar for data privacy protection in the UK will be raised.

A lot of PMI members travel internationally and like to take the opportunity to visit an event of a local PMI Chapter when they are abroad.

The European Chapter have setup an initiative to make this possible: the European Passport Initiative.

When you travel to a European country you can check to see if there is an event organized by a local chapter.

If so register for the event by filling in the form on the website and within 10 days you will receive the joining instructions.

We are delighted to inform you that as of 6 May 2017, PMI has launched the Membership Automatic Renewal Feature which provides you with convenience and continuous access to your membership benefits. The launch of this automatic feature enables your eligible PMI membership and chapter membership(s) to automatically renew annually as long as you maintain a valid payment method in the secure system of PMI. This feature does not apply to Student Membership. Any time a (non-student) member joins, renews, or rejoins PMI and/or PMI chapters online with an eligible membership type, their membership will be set to automatically renew annually.

PMI members around the world requested for an automatic membership renewal option that would provide them with continuous access to their valuable member benefits. This Automatic Renewal Feature is a great way for you to ensure continuous access to your member benefits; however, you may turn it on or off at any time through myPMI or by contacting Customer Care. If you turn off the Automatic Renewal Feature, we will send you renewal reminder emails and a notice in the mail prior to your expiration date. You can also turn the membership automatic renewal feature on at any time by managing your preferences in myPMI.

Comments requested on ISO-DIS (Draft International Standard) 21503 Project, Programme and Portfolio management - Guidance on Programme Management.


This International Standard provides guidance on concepts, prerequisites and practices of programme management that is important for, and has an impact on, the performance of programmes.

This International Standard is intended for use by:

  • executive managers and those individuals involved in the sponsorship of programmes
  • individuals managing and participating in programmes
  • developers of national or organisational standards

This International Standard may be tailored to meet the needs of any organisation or individual, so that they may better apply concepts, prerequisites and practices of programme management.


There are 2 ways of submitting comments on this draft standard.

1. Online

The draft standard is now available for public comments via the link  The language is English. The final date for comments is February 28th. If you have not created an account, do so. After login at you can comment online on each section of this draft standard. You can provide general comments at the title section.

2. Workshop

On Tuesday February 14th 2017 from 18:00 to 21:00 the shared IPMA-NL and PMI Netherlands Chapter interest group "ISO for projects" organizes a workshop at Capgemini, Papendorpseweg 100, 3528 BJ Utrecht to review the standard together.


The received comments will be reviewed by the NEN standard committee for Project management before they are sent to ISO. After resolution of all comments the standard is expected to be published in the course of 2017.

Based on the Chapter By-Laws we would herewith like to call your attention for the upcoming Election of the Board of the PMI Netherlands Chapter for 2017-2018.

The nomination and election of directors shall be conducted annually in accordance with the terms of office specified in Article IV, Section 1 and Article V, of the Chapter By-laws.

Based on the Charter and Board decisions, the terms of office are defined to end on 31 December 2016 for the following officers with their respective positions:
